As a leader in the field of integrative care, UC’s Center for Integrative Health and Wellness  is involved in several federally-funded research projects. We are currently investigating  spirituality-health, mind-body interventions, nutrition, and biological therapies/supplements.

Current and previous funding sources include National Institute of Child Health and Development, National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Cincinnati Veteran Affairs Medical Center, and foundation grants.

Research Priorities

  • Conducting comparative effectiveness studies
  • Comparing integrative care models to usual care
  • Examining sustainable models of integrative care
  • Building academic and community research partnerships
