Get Your Health and Safety Training Videos

Trainees and faculty have developed videos to address health and safety concerns for firefighters and home healthcare workers. These short videos provide recommendations and best practices to many of the potential risk factors in these two professions. Each video is 3 to 5 minutes long, covering a short summary of the problem, an interview with workers (testimonials), and description of interventions or procedures that could reduce the exposures.

Home Healthcare Workers

Pets and Pests
Pets and pest provide a unique health and safety exposure to home healthcare workers when they arrive to homes of patients. This video provides an overview of concerns and potential fixes to them.

Egress and Ingress of Homes
Walking to and from as well as entering the homes of patients posed numerous risk factors for the health and safety of home healthcare workers. This video discusses some of the potential hazards and how to deal with them.
