Cancer Institute

Director's Welcome

It is our privilege to work to help patients and their families fighting cancer, to train outstanding medical personnel, to significantly contribute to and lead advances in the field and to provide an atmosphere and culture that brings out the best in everyone associated with the institute. Our intentions are to minimize the suffering and mortality associated with this disease and to serve as a resource for the community, gladly sharing our multidisciplinary expertise for patients treated here as well as elsewhere. We strive to have a positive impact on the care of every patient with cancer in the region, wherever they are treated.

We have an atmosphere where we're working to enhance our knowledge every day. We have bright and curious trainees asking questions that lead to new ideas, ensuring better care. Our research infrastructure affords this opportunity.

With our outstanding teams and transdisciplinary interactions, our culture exudes respect and industriousness.

No one wants the diagnosis of cancer, but if one has to face this adversary, we are working to make Cincinnati the very best place to be.
