Application Development - Cincinnati Children's
BMI has faculty-supported collaborative service and development groups with expertise in a number of different areas, including:
- Developing customized software applications in a wide variety of programming languages, including Python, Perl, Java/J2EE, iOS, and .NET
- Evaluating, hosting and customizing licensed and open-source research software
- Designing and hosting research databases, datamarts, and registries, including the use of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases
- Developing research web sites compliant with industry and corporate standards
- Content management systems & web portals based on SharePoint and Drupal
Support Staff:
Staff members include experts in web- and mobile-based software development, networking, system administration and maintenance, and database programming. They are accustomed to working within a unique environment that facilitates realization of complex projects with significant programming and outreach extensions.
