Private support is essential to the growth and continued success of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. While it is not possible to list all of the giving opportunities available, the following is a list of current initiatives at the College. 	Annual Fund For more than 50 years, the College of Medicine has received annual support from alumni, residency graduates, fellows, faculty and friends through gifts to the Annual Medical Fund. (more)
	Cancer Center UC Cancer Center is home to the overall cancer activities ongoing at the Health Sciences campus of the University of Cincinnati. It also encompasses the clinical care and research programs ongoing at the Cincinnati Veterans Administration Hospital and at Children's Hospital. The Barrett Cancer Center houses UC's integrated clinical programs and quality outpatient cancer care. (more)
	Center for Surgical Innovation The vision of the Center for Surgical Innovation is to have UC serve as a world-class leader in the development and dissemination of innovative technologies to improve surgical and medical care. (more)
	Dean's Named Scholarship Program You can make a personal difference in a medical student's life and in the future of the UC College of Medicine. (more)
	Departmental Endowed Chairs The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine continually seeks faculty to enhance the University's international reputation for excellence and move academic programs in promising new directions. (more)
	Diabetes Center The medical, social and economic burden of diabetes, already significant, is a growing problem for our region and the country. To address this problem, the UC College of Medicine has developed a state-of-the-art academic clinical center for the care of patients with diabetes. (more)
	IvaDean Medical Student Scholarship Fund This fund was established to honor IvaDean Lair-Adolph, Assistant Dean of the College of Medicine. This annual fund will honor IvaDean's 40+ years of dedication to the College of Medicine, as well as her role as "the person who has contributed the most to making medical school manageable," according to the medical students she assists. 	John J. Hutton, M.D Fund in Ethics This fund was established in honor of John Hutton, M.D., former Dean of the UC College of Medicine. This annual lectureship in honor of Dr. Hutton's 15 years of leadership at the College of Medicine encourages the development and maintenance of the highest standards of personal and medical ethics in the doctors-to-be at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. 	Millennium Plan A biomedical revolution is emerging, and the UC Medical Center plans to bring Cincinnati to the forefront. Bringing this revolution to Cincinnati has the potential to promote economic development in the area and to address health problems that touch nearly all of our lives. (more)
	Neuroscience Institute Neurological diseases and disorders such as stroke, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease affect millions of families each year. Through the Neuroscience Institute, UC plans to serve as the national leader in understanding and treating neurological diseases such as these. (more)
	Quest for Vision The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine's Department of Ophthalmology has the potential to be at the forefront of clinical research of ocular disorders such as age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, corneal degeneration and more. (more)
	Naming Opportunities The College of Medicine offers a number of naming opportunities, including signature gifts, research and laboratory buildings, centers of excellence, laboratories, endowed chairs, lectureships and fellowships. (more)
