Forever Buckeye for Ohio High School Graduates
The State of Ohio 2012-13 budget established a new provision that extends the in-state tuition rate to Ohio high school graduates who have the current legal status to remain permanently in the United States and who have left Ohio but who return to enroll in an Ohio public institution of higher education and who establish a primary residence in Ohio by the first day of classes of the requested term. More information can be found online at www.uc.edu/registrar. Click on “Residency and Reciprocity” and look under “Ohio Residency.”
To apply for this rate, you will have to produce a copy of your Ohio high school transcript or verification of your graduation on the high school’s letterhead. In addition, you will have to produce a copy of a lease or deed establishing that you reside in Ohio.
The application form and supporting documentation should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of the term for which you are enrolling.
