Didactic Education

The didactic portion of the training program includes:

• A comprehensive series of clinically-orientated teaching conferences
• A series of basic and clinical science lectures which follow the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Basic and Clinical Science books
• Monthly journal clubs
• Grand Rounds sessions
• Annual Research Symposium held in the spring
• Visiting professorships in which guest speakers lecture to residents and the community during the Cincinnati Ophthalmological Society meetings
