UC Neuroscience Institute
Neurological, behavioral and psychiatric diseases and disorders are a major cause of death and disability throughout the United States and the world. Although knowledge about the brain and spinal cord is growing, there is still much to learn about the prevention and treatment of neurological disease.
The UC Neuroscience Institute is a collaborative effort that involves more than 100 faculty members from 15 clinical specialties as well as basic scientists. This multidisciplinary team embraces nine academic departments at the UC College of Medicine, UC Health University Hospital and independent physician practice groups.
