About the Department
The UC Department of Neurosurgery, which represents the Mayfield Clinic's academic arm, provides 1) broad-based education for medical students and residents and 2) continuing medical education for neurosurgeons worldwide.
The department supports technical, clinical and basic science research in the neurosciences.
Clinical neurosurgical training is administered by a large attending staff (25 full-time faculty) with diverse expertise at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, which includes:
