Students from any college or university are welcome!
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine offers a comprehensive MCAT Review Course. This course is a collaboration between the University of Cincinnati (UC), the UC College of Medicine (UCCoM), and the UC Academic Health Center. Course instructors are faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and advanced graduate students from a wide range of disciplines.
This course has been developed to address all thematic concepts, technical elements, and strategic changes required by the new MCAT (MCAT2015). To ensure that students are adequately prepared for their MCAT administrations, our MCAT course has partnered with The Princeton Review. Therefore, our course instructors utilize Princeton Review book and lecture materials in addition to collateral materials provided by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
Course Format: This MCAT Review Course provides a refresher of the main concepts in each MCAT content area and then assists students with applying these concepts to the new MCAT format. Our course begins with a new MCAT Strategy Lecture which focuses on utilizing proper strategies for each section of the MCAT. Each content area is taught by a different instructor. Students attend lectures in the evenings at the UC College of Medicine. Lectures are recorded and students can access lectures, in-class materials, and instructor communications through a Google Drive account. This course format allows students to view all MCAT Review Course content from afar or if they miss lecture(s) and/or to re-review the content at their leisure.
